„Terezín – Refuge in Music“ wins ICMA Award 2014 „Best Documentary“

ICMA-Official-Logo-WINNER_neu„Terezín – Refuge in Music“ – A documentary by Dorothee Binding and Benedict Mirow produced by Bayerische Akademie der Schönen Künster (Prod. Katja Schaefer) featuring Anne Sofie von Otter, Daniel Hope and Christian Gerhaher wins the ICMA 2014 in the category „Best Documentary“. The Jury of the International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) announced the Awards for 2014. In the CD and DVD categories, 16 productions from 15 different labels are awarded a prize, coming from an initial list of 264 CD and DVD nominated for this year’s Awards. Remy Franck: « We are particularly happy that again a majority of independent labels are among the winners, the different countries they are coming from emphasizing the international character of our Jury, with media representatives from 13 countries. »

Being part of this year’s Beethoven Easter Festival, the Award Ceremony and Gala Concert will take place on April 12th at the Philharmonic Hall in Warsaw.
